She was predeceased by : her parents, Wayne Darling and Rose Darling (Callahan); her husband Harold Smith of Pike Hill; her sons, George Smith and Harold Smith Jr.; her aunt Rena Darling; and her stepfather Donald J. Hooper.
She is survived by : her son Joseph J. Smith (Allisa Fifield); her grandson Joseph Jr. of Bradford; her daughter Florence R. Smith; her sisters, Diann Ward of Vershire and Patricia Couture of Bethel, VT; and her half-siblings, Margaret Pearson of Conifer, CO, Penny Severance, Daisy Darling of South Royalton, VT and Glenn Darling of Randolph Center, VT. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
