Earl Wayne Hood Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Wayne Hood of Corinth, Vermont, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Earl Wayne Hood to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Raymond Hood of Orange, VT. and Ruby Hood (Farnham); his siblings, Betty Ann Dugdale (Hood), Arthur "Stubby" Hood and Robert "Bob" Hood; and his stepsiblings, Bernie Bouley and Betty Webster.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Brooks of Corinth; his sons, Jerry Hood of East Barre, Thomas Hood of Williamstown and Chris Hood of Barre; and his stepchildren, Patricia Chaffee of Barre, Roger Chaffee of Barre, Thomas Chaffee of Corinth, Terri Smith of East Orange and Jenny Sweet of West Topsham. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Orange Town Hall (392 US-302, Orange, VT 05641).
