She was predeceased by: her parents, Chauncey D. Howell, Sr. and Kathryn Shirer Howell; her husband John H. Gundy; her son John Benjamin Gundy; and her brothers, Chauncey D. Howell, Jr. and C. David Howell.
She is survived by: her children, Charles (Haidje), Jennifer (Paul) and Joanna; and her grandsons, Charles and Johannes. She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
