She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Fontaine and Aurora Fontaine (Emond); her son Alan Patenaude; her husband Joseph Patenaude; her son Adrien; and her granddaughter Jennifer (Benjamin).
She is survived by: her children, George (Gale Hansen), Diane Forcier (John), Susan Letourneau (Bert), Marcel (Gaetane Roberge), Joanne Aulis (Mike), Christine Sykes (Gary) and Anna Hutchins (Patenaude); her close friend Pat Warner; her in-laws, Theresa Peterson (Jim), George (Germaine), Lawrence (Gertrude), Adelard (Anita), MaryJane Perkins (Ray), Lionel, Dorillard Angeline (Georgette), Anita Shorette (Lee) and Helen Beauregard (Robert); her brother Dorillard Fontaine; her siblings-in-law, Robert Beauregard, Rose Patenaude and Pauline Patenaude; and her grandchildren, Aaron, Celestiane, Hannah, Christian, Kim, Chad, Jill, Troy, Patrick, Bobbi Jo, Andrew, Natalie, Matthew, Steven, Pamela, Stephanie, Rachel, Nicole, Jordan and Joanna.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Home (4670 Darling Hill Rd, Newport, VT 05855). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Edwards (59 Elm St, Derby Line, VT 05830).
