She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Smith Eastman and Mahlon Eastman; her husband Raymond McCarthy; her son Thomas A. Ryan, Jr.; her stepson Kevin McCarthy; her brother-in-law Winston Bowen; and her brother Williard "Billy" Armstrong.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane M. Ryan; her stepchildren, Laura McCarthy Bartlett, Steven McCarthy and Rebecca McCarthy; and her sisters, Kathleen Bowen and Lorraine Farley. She is also survived by many grandchildren and several great grandchildren and by her best friend.
