He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Charland and Uda Charland (Wheeler); his wife Audrey; his siblings, Madlene Moulton, Geraldine Moulton, Natlie Moulton, Bernard Charland, Preston Charland and Jaunita Charland; his son-in-law Batchelder; and his pets, Benji, Shilo and Sandy.
He is survived by: his children, Phyllis, Debbie (Joe), Donald Jr. (Tammy) and Penny (Philip); his grandchildren, Amy, Michael, Jason, Derrick (Cassie), Jeff (Kati), Katie (Alex), Colin and Ian (Tori); and his rabbit Princess. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild and by his loving companion.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Curtis-Britch Bouffard Funeral Home (4670 Darling Hill Rd, Newport, VT 05829). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Home (4670 Darling Hill Rd, Newport, VT 05829).
