He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Slayton and Mildred Slayton (Fisher); and his brothers, Spencer and Stewart. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Rose, Sylas, Emily and Andrew; his great grandchild Charlotte Dechaine; and his brother Stephen Slayton.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the American Legion Post #7 (51 N Main St, Hardwick, VT 05843).
