He was predeceased by: his father Jerry Yates. He is survived by: his mother Mary Yates (Raymond); his siblings, Linda Hodet (Greg), Lisa Paradee (David), Tom Yates (Lynne), Lori Lamos (Dale Moore) and Steve Yates (Robin); his wife Cathy; his nieces and nephews, Courtney, Melanie, Britany, Katelyn, Hunter, Hudson, Caryssa, Morgan, Jenyssa and Cayden; his stepgrandchildren, Rhea Anderson and Theryn Maynard; his parents-in-law, Clifton and Carol-Ann Vorse; his sisters-in-law, Jo Ann Bourn (Calvin) and Jennifer Kirkpatrick (Scott); his uncle Ken Raymond; and his aunt Pat Raymond. He is also survived by several cousins, and ten great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Enosburg American Legion Post 42 (108 Depot St, Enosburg Falls, VT 05450).
