She was predeceased by: her parents, Alverta Hoppes and Michael Kistler; and her brother Eugene Kistler. She is survived by: her brother Allen Kistler of Andres; her significant other Russell George Berger, Jr.; and her children, Lori Hennessey (Michael), Michelle Rushford (Michael), Gretchen Stallings (Timothy), Theresa and Russell. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
