We announce the death of Wayne E. Lanphear Jr. of Essex, Vermont, who passed away on July 7, 2026, at the age of 64. Wayne will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Wayne will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Wayne will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Wayne’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Lanphear and Patricia Lanphear; and his sisters, Linda and Lisa. He is survived by: his siblings, Wanda, Anita, Laurie and Michael Edson. He is also survived by many special friends, cousins, nieces, nephews and a couple aunts.
