He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter James and Alice Maude Blackwood (Dayton); and his brothers, Walter "Sonny" Blackwood and William Blackwood. He is survived by: his son Stacey Blackwood of New York; and his siblings, Charles Blackwood of Whitehall, NY, Milton Blackwood of Fair Haven and Glenda Coursey of Castleton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
