We announce the death of Dennis Wortheim (Fairfax, Vermont), who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 67. Dennis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Dennis will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Dennis’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Burnell Wortheim; his daughter Amanda Dennis; and his father Stanley Wortheim. He is survived by: his siblings, David Wortheim (Anne) of Tennessee, Donald Wortheim of Vermont, Dan Wortheim (Sarah) of Maine and Deborah Mobbs; and his granddaughters, Dixie Miller of Vermont and Noelle Bright of Vermont. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
