He was predeceased by: his daughter Karen Benoit Martell; his siblings, Dorothy Scanlon, Leo Benoit, Claire Benoit and Evie Ashline; and his parents, Salime Benoit and Doris Benoit.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Benoit; his children, Lynn Benoit (Jody), Mark Benoit (Jen) and Eric Benoit (Marie); his grandchildren, Mindy Hurley (Devin), Teia Benoit (Devin), Brooke Benoit (Cory), Alyssa Benoit, Sierra Benoit (Ryan), Tanner Benoit (Katie) and Taylor Martell; his great grandchildren, Trent, Grady, Charlie, Camden, Carson, Emalynn, Elyza, Kinsley, Waylon, Adeline and Oakley; and his sister Mary Shorey (Dennis).
