We are sad to announce that, on May 16, 2026, at the age of 25, Eleanor Vital-Capone Soucy of Fairfield, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Eleanor leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Eleanor may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She is survived by: her parents, Alfonso Capone and Sandra Soucy; her siblings, Abram Capone (Claire Lockard) of Chicago, IL, Olive Douglass (Luke Douglass) of Marion, MA. and Wilson Capone (Simone Payette-Capone) of Norwood, MA; her nieces, Rachel Douglass and Elizabeth Douglass; and her nephew Robert Douglass (Pepere Robert Soucy). She is also survived by numerous aunts uncles and cousins.
As an alternative to flowers, memorials may be made in her name to River Rock Treatment Center, or The Pride Center of Burlington.
