Ruth C. Martel Obituary
We announce the death of Ruth C. Martel of Georgia, Vermont, who passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 63. Ruth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Drew and Robert Lloyd, Sr. (Ruth). She is survived by: her husband Timothy Martel; her children, Timothy James Martel (Ashley) and Rachel Martel-Preslar; her grandchildren, Caleb, Tabitha, Carley and Daniel; her siblings, Cyril Lloyd, Kathy Hullsman and Robert Lloyd Jr.; her sister-in-law Tammy; and her sister Renee Lafountain. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and two step-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church (1063 Prim Rd, Colchester, VT 05446).
