Rachel Ann Lafont Obituary
We announce the death of Rachel Ann Lafont (Glover, Vermont), who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 92. Rachel Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Foster Urie and Bessie Urie (Stone); her husband Richard; her daughter-in-law Janet Taplin; her grandson Robin Lafont; and her siblings, Janet Urie, Jean Borland, James Urie and Robert Urie.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Lafont, Marcia Therrien (Ken), Raymond Lafont (Jean) and Margaret Viens (Randy); and her sister-in-law Lois Taylor. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the West Glover Church (2516 Bean Hill Rd, West Glover, VT 05875).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Rachel's memory may be made to the Building Restoration Fund, West Glover Church, 2516 Bean Hill Rd, West Glover, VT 05875.
