She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Stone and Laura Stone (Still); her husband Arland R. Stone, Sr.; her son Arland R. Stone, Jr.; and her grandson Keith R. Stone.

She is survived by: her children, Brian Stone (Micheline) of Barton, Bruce Stone of Barton, Terry Stone (Rose Stone) of Barton, Gail Stone (Ron Chasse) of Colchester, Diane Landry (Clement Landry) of Orleans and Candy Bacon (Doug Bacon) of Barton; her sister Beverly Cleveland; and her sister-in-law Donna Sweeney. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
