He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Kreis and Richard Kreis; his siblings, Miriam Hill and Henry Kreis; and his stepdaughter Tammy Hutchins.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kreis; his children, Brad, Curt, Rodney and Sara; his stepchildren, Karen, Danny, Diana, Sharon and Jody; and his sisters, Lisa Kreis and Roxie Weber. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Wilson Cemetery (149 Websterville Rd, Barre, VT 05678).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made in Chub's name to the Central Vermont Humane Society.
