He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Hammond; and his cousins, Lisa Grant, Marcie Mills and James O'Dowd. He is survived by: his mother Jacqueline Hammond; his sister Jennifer Hammond (McDonald Lozada); and his sibling's children, Luke Hammond Lozada and Danielle Lozada. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
He was a lifelong dog lover, and contributions in his memory can be made to the ASPCA (American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
