Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Janis leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Lafont and Edna Lafont (Pearl); her husband Dan Courcey; and her nephew Dennis Lafont. She is survived by: her brothers, Dean Lafont (Colleen) and Brian Lafont; her friend Sue Slayton; and her pet Moji. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and nephews.
