He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joyce Shattie and Wallace Shattie; his close friend Than; his significant other Cheryl; his sons, Jason (Aleksey), Kellen (Melinda) and Bryce (Sara); his grandchildren, Katie, Payton, Harper, Blake and Kinsley; and his father-in-law Paul Eckelman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joe's memory to Dartmouth Hitchcock's Heart and Vascular Center.
