He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his sons, Dan Collins (Kelley), Michael Collins (Alicia), Robert Collins, Mac Daly (Amber), Brad Collins (Amy Gillespie) and Ed Collins (Hannah Gill); his grandchildren, Danny Jr. (Lindsey), Dylan Collins (Ashley), Dawn, Colby Collins, Isaiah Collins, Ella Cunningham, Poppy Collins and Luke Collins; his great grandchild Malika; his siblings, Robert Collins (Simone) and Margaret Collins; and his friend Joe Farrell.

In later years, he developed Alzheimer's and then during COVID had a stroke.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Frontier Humane Society in Oliver's memory.
