Rita left this world on October 23, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Valeda Labreque and Jean Paul Labreque; her husband Pearley Leon Dion Sylvester; her brother Leo Labrecque; and her great grandchild Sammie.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Lacross (Larry Lacross), Diane Ianni (Bob), Wayne Sylvester (Betsy Sylvester), Brian Sylvester (Denise Sylvester) and Karen Cote; her grandchildren, Dawn Greenwood, Paul Tetreault, Christine Russell, Shannon Guay, Lynn Brochu, Andrea Machado, Brittany Auclair, Athena Ianni, Robbie Ianni, Carrie Ann Roberge, Sarah Sylvester, Anna Sylvester, Levi Sylvester, Ryan Kelley and Deianaira Prive; her sister Pauline Labrecque Sousa; her sister-in-law Mary Labrecque; and her nieces, Monica, Lisa and Candice Labrecque.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
