We announce the death of Marion Edith Cole of Island Pond, Vermont, who passed away on October 18, 2026, at the age of 95. Marion will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Champagne and Ila Champagne (Bemis); her brother Leon A. Champagne; her husbands, Neil Moulton and Wayne; her daughters, Betty Mae Ellam (Moulton) and Mary Lou Moulton; her son-in-law Cary "Pete" (Mary Lou); and her granddaughter Susan Plummer (Moulton).
She is survived by: her children, Wayne B. Cole (Karen) of Island Pond, VT, Raymond A. Cole (Judy) of Waverly, VA and Zanita Morin (Bob) of Milan, NH; her son-in-law Roy Ellam of Derby, VT.; her grandchildren, Lynn Moulton (Gordon), Tina Ellam-Peck (Scott), Peggy McAllister (Pete), Bri-Anne Glover (Michael), Terry Lyn Cole, Wayne C. Cole (Shire), John Cole (Karena), Matthew Hawkins (Jolinda) and Nathan Hawkins (Denise); and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brooke, Taylor, Cary, Dustin, Brandon, Tyler, Tiegan, Tristin, Trenton, Matthew, Kayleigh, Isabella, William, Cooper, Stephen, Skylar, Huxley, Phoenix, Nicolas, Elijah, Owen, Sydney, Jonathan, Nelson and Amy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Home (1199 Railroad St, Island Pond, VT 05846). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
