She was predeceased by: her father Marvin Stanley Carter. She is survived by: her husband George Hudson; her mother Juliane Carter; and her brothers, Thomas Carter (Karen) and Stanley Carter (Anne).
She volunteered documenting the cemetery across from her home and contributed to the painting of the fence during the pandemic.
After her experience with breast cancer, she poured her skill and empathy into knitting chemo caps and preemie hats, donating them generously to the hospital.
