He was predeceased by: his father Homer T. Penniman; his uncle Michael Moore; and his mother-in-law Linda Y. Rawson. He is survived by: his mother Sherry M. Stahler (Jack); his wife Lee A. Penniman; his sister Tineka Holk (Boyd); his nieces and nephews, Tanner, Layna, Nicholas and Alicen Savasta; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isabella, Gunnar and Phinney; his aunts and uncles, Susan M. Mackay (Bob), Jeffrey Moore (Michael), Tami Moore, Jan Oliver (Mike), Laura Barrett (Larry), Bruce Penniman and Linda Penniman; his sister-in-law Colynda LeSieur (Matthew); his nieces, Nadia and Amelia; his sister-in-law Roberta Lacoste; his nibling Haley; and his father-in-law Howard E. Rawson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Caledonia County.
