With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Martha Damone (Ludlow, Vermont), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Martha shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Martha farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Clegg and Antoinette Clegg. She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Damone; her siblings, John Clegg (Elnora) and Leona Houghton; her brother-in-law Pete Damone (Dot); and her children, Tina Danyew, Susan Balch, Patty Damone, Gina Bailey, Jamie Josselyn, James Damone and Phil Damone. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
