It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Allen Alger (Middlebury, Vermont), who passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Alger and Ardella Alger (Machia); and his siblings, Leonard Alger, Betty Alger and Nancy Stevens.
He is survived by: his children, Christy Alger (Desjadon), Tonya Kessler (Franklyn), Allen M. Alger (Cathy) and Tiffany Stowe (Thaddeus); his grandchildren, Emily, Benjamin, Caitlyn, Bethany, Madelyn and Dylan; his great grandchildren, Finnley, Ila Mae and Tucker; his brother Mark Alger (Bert); and his friends, Louis Hall and Ed Babbitt. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Orwell Fire House. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
