Helen Ida Blyther Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Ida Blyther of Middlebury, Vermont, born in Hubbardston, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 20, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter P. Blyther and Lillian Blyther (Paro); her siblings, Eunice Lajoie, Dean Blyther, Carolyn "Cookie" Vermett (Blyther) and Betty Ann Blyther; her sons, Alexander Royal Vaillancourt and Roland John Vaillancourt; her granddaughter Alicia Hargett; and her son-in-law Daniel Cox.
She is survived by : her children, Walter J. Vaillancourt of Bristol, VT and Robin A. Cox of Tenino, WA; her brothers, John Blyther of Houston, TX and Duane Blyther of Hubbardston, MA; her grandchildren, Jesse W. Vaillancourt (Laurie), Stacy Schweitzer (Jeff), Jacob Vaillancourt, Joshua Vaillancourt, Makayla Vaillancourt (Jerannchris Rivera-Heredia), Rebecca Ziadeh (Vaillancourt), Jerimiah Gibbs (Megan) and Julie Cox; her great grandchildren, Julia Ziadeh, Brooklyn Castine, Nevaeh Gibbs and Nolan Vaillancourt; and also Alyssa Reynolds.
Donations can be given in her memory to Helen Porter Health and Rehab Center Middlebury, VT where she received wonderful care the last eight years or Addison County Home Health and Hospice.
