He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwin Grant and Erma Grant (Ladeau); his wife Joan; and his brothers, William Grant and Benjamin Grant.
He is survived by: his children, Marsha Shepard (Michael) of Ferrisburgh, Michael Grant (Melanie) of Tallahassee, FL, Robert Grant Jr. (Beth) of Orwell and Joanne Fox (Charlie) of Schoharie, NY.; and his brother Howard Grant (Buster). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
