She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Searles and Addie Searles. She is survived by : her husband Jim; her brother Jake (Nettie); her children, James McClay (Kathleen), Gayle Torrey (Mark) and Tom McClay (Giselaine); and her daughter-in-law Toni McClay.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Boys and Girls club of Vergennes or Vergennes Area Rescue Squad.
