We announce the death of Shirley Douglas in Middlebury, Vermont, who passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 90. Shirley will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Narabone and Mabel Narabone (Masterson); her son David Douglas, Jr.; her siblings, Francis Narabone, Robert Narabone, Doris Galvin, Kathleen Fiske, Joan LaFountain and June Newton; and her brother-in-law David Douglas, Sr..
She is survived by: her sons, Patrick Douglas of Leicester and Christopher Douglas of Georgia, VT; and her sister Phyllis Foshea of Salisbury.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holman Cemetery (843-773 Holman Rd, Salisbury, VT 05769).
Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made, in her memory to; Brandon Area Rescue Squad or Middlebury Volunteer Ambulance Association.
