It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John L. Thompson of Milton, Vermont, born in Burlington, Vermont, who passed away on May 6, 2026, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his uncle Denis Lambert of Stowe; his aunts, Barbara Lambert of Colchester and Mary Ann Thompson of Burlington; his sister Susan Sanders (Jerry); his nephews, Patrick (Gail), Jerome and Peter; his niece Heather (Paul); his children, Joshua (Jenny), Benjamin (Jodie) and Samantha; his family, Marcus, Robert, Thomas (Justin) and Stephanie Thompson (Matt Cohen); his friend David Conley; his pet Charlie; and his caregivers, Amy Jackson and Patty Defayette. He is also survived by great nephews and nieces, cousins.
