Kathlyn Quig Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2020, Kathlyn Quig (Milton, Vermont), born in Haverhill, New Hampshire passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eunice Whitcomb and Wayne Johnson Whitcomb of Bath, NH.; her husband George Ernest Quig; and her sisters, Jean and Eunice.

She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Russell (Quig); her son-in-law Albert Russell of Milton, VT; her son Jeff Quig of Seattle, WA; her grandchildren, Dan of Colchester, VT and Kat of Milton, VT; and her great grandchildren, Ilona, Kala and Dade.

Those wishing to make a donation in Kay's memory may direct them to the Ladies Society of the Congregational Church in Littleton (in care of Ms. Emily Laflam), the Littleton Historical Society, or the State Grange in Concord (in care of Ms. Esther Herrick).

“It is sincere sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Kathlyn Quig. She was a Past State Pomona in the NH State Grange, past Master of Monroe Grange, Past Pomona Master of Ammoonsuc Valley Pomona; and a member for 80 years in the Grange, last with Concord Grange, NH. I know reading history of the State Grange, that she and her late husband George , who served as a State Subordinate Deputy for several y ears. She served in the State Office of Pomona in the mid 1950's.”
