The family announces the passing of Marion Leakey (Milton, Vermont) on September 27, 2026. Marion, born on July 4, 1937, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Larmay and Doris Larmay; her former husband Bruce Kirby; her husband John Leakey (Jack); and her brother Robert.
She is survived by: her sister Beverly Goodale (Gary); and her children, Susan Kirby Haselton (Stan), Deboraha Kirby and David Kirby (Heather). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, 1 cousin, several nephews and a niece.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Minor Funeral Home (237 US-7, Milton, VT 05468). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Rose of Lima Church (501 US-2, South Hero, VT 05486). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at the Lakeview Cemetery (455 North Ave, Burlington, VT 05401).
