He was predeceased by: his parents, Ines Powell and Richard Powell of Montpelier. He is survived by: his brother Richard Powell II (Diane); his niece Tara Grenier (Craige); his great-nephew Bradley; his nephew Ricky Powell (Brittany); and his great-nephew Calvin.
