It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Merrill (Montpelier, Vermont), who passed away on April 20, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard "Jack" Merrill and Marion Merrill (Wallace); his sister LeeAnn Martin; and his daughter Patricia Merrill. He is survived by: his brother Forrest Merrill; his niece Nancy Clark (Gary); his nephews, Michael Merrill (Beth MacAskill), Roger Merrill (Emily Partington) and Brian Sweeney (Erica); his great-niece Brenda Sweeney; and his grandchildren, David Clark, Jason Merrill, Melissa Merrill, Amanda Merrill, Katie Merrill, Brooke Merrill, Melanie Buttram, Jakob Bousquet, Brian Sweeney Jr. and Emma Sweeney. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
