He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnham Jones and Helen Jones (Barclay); his wife Virginia Jones (Kane); and his siblings, Janice, Thomas, Carlton and Stanley.

He is survived by: his son Gregory Jones of Richmond, VT; and his grandchildren, Walker R. Jones and Tatum M. Jones.
