It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Clarke Olson (Montpelier, Vermont), who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Jean Clarke farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jean Clarke is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Remington and John Remington; and her sister Diane Starr (Remington). She is survived by: her husband George Olson; her daughters, Emilia Olson (Jacob Rogen) and Sarah Olson (Josh Rudman); her sister Mary Gulbrandsen (David Gulbrandsen); her niece Justina Starr; and her nephew Isaac Starr (Megan Lizotte). She is also survived by relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Vermont College Alumnx Hall (45 College St, Montpelier, VT 05602).
