Joyce Rowe Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Rowe (Montpelier, Vermont), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Palmer and Kathryn Hallock Palmer; her husband Bob; her son Peter; her son-in-law James Reardon; her siblings, Delbert Palmer and Carol Atwood; and her grandchildren, Sara and Jonathan Broadmeadow.
She is survived by: her children, Steve (JoAnn) of South Burlington, VT, Debra of Essex Junction, VT and Karen (John) of Northfield, VT.; her sister Lois Richardson (Al) of Springfield, MA; and her grandchildren, Kristy Sue Goodwin (Jason), Katherine Rowe, Megan Moriarty (Sean), Micheal Reardon, Jennifer Reardon, Stephanie Langley (Patrick) and Benjamin Broadmeadow (Viktoria). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Guare & Sons, Barber & Lanier Funeral Home (30 School St, Montpelier, VT 05602). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Waitsfield Common Cemetery. A reception will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
