She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Lyon and Ilda Lyon (Kirkpatrick). She is survived by: her children, Jason and Julie; her husband David Hunter; Jason Hunter (Lorette Murray) and Julie Hunter (Martin Obeng). She is also survived by her family, friends.
In the classroom, and via Zoom during the Pandemic, Linda had an uncanny ability to connect with her students and teach them essential literacy skills to pave the way for successful careers.
