With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Marie Matson of Morgan, Vermont, born in Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on March 19, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Victor (Vic) and Geraldine LaPeer (Jerry); and her siblings, Nancy Berkley, Suzan LaPeer and Jean LaPeer.

She is survived by : her children, Lisa Stevens (John) of Morgan and Jeffrey Matson of Valparaiso, Indiana.; her grandchildren, Emma, Sarah Stevens of Morgan and Layne Matson of Valparaiso, Indiana.; and her sisters, Vicki Krolik (Rick), Marie Berthold (Louis) and Shelly LaPeer of Munster. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) or Orleans Essex Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, 46 Lakemont Road, Newport, VT 05855.
