He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Waite Bliss and Ivaline Ora Bliss (Thomas); his wife Dot; and his daughter Laurie Anne Bliss. He is survived by: his children, Anne Demars (James Doykos), Matthew Bliss (Wendy) and Patrick Bliss (Hillary); his grandchildren, Ryan Demars (Sarah), Carter Demars (Alysha), Christian Demars (Emily), Joshua Bliss, Erica Bliss, Gregory Bliss, Ella Bliss and Peyton Bliss; his great grandchild Maeve Demars; and his sister-in-law Bette (Bob Kirk) of Alberta, Canada..
