He was predeceased by: his parents, Elnah Placey (Runnels) and Freeman Placey; and his sister Marilyn Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Placey; his sons, David A. Placey (Patricia) of Enfield, NH, Duane Placey of Newbury, VT and Steve Placey (Rebekah) of Newbury, VT; and his grandchildren, Thomas Placey (Jessica), Desiree Placey (Denia), Lynne Lucas (Matthew) and Jamie Placey. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
