Virginia Swenson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Swenson of Newbury, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 26, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hoglund and Rhoda Hoglund; and her husband Richard Swenson (Dick). She is survived by: her siblings, Robert Hoglund and Charlotte Tremblay (Hoglund); and her children, Carl Swenson, Sr. (Seher) of Palm Bay, FL, Robert Swenson (Melanie) of Fairlee, VT, David Swenson (Elizabeth) of Montpelier, VT, Karen Clements (Frederic) of Newbury, VT and Allen Fuller (Virginia) of Newbury, VT. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Congregation Church of Newbury (4915 Main St S, Newbury, VT 05051). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at the Oxbow Cemetery (4354 US-5, Newbury, VT 05051).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Ginny's honor to Newbury Women's Fellowship PO Box 165 Newbury, VT 05051.
