She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Benjamin and Catherine Benjamin; her husband John Colby Sr.; her daughter Carol Robie; and her sister Marilyn Betts.

She is survived by : her brothers, David Benjamin (Peep Benjamin) and Bobby Benjamin (late Patty Benjamin); her children, John Colby Jr., Craig Colby (Rachel Cook) and Kathy Corriveau (Clement Corriveau); and her son-in-law Scott Robie. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many dearly beloved cousins.
