She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Beck and Pearl Kelley; her husband Raymond Bernier; her children, Timothy Bernier and Julie Richards; and her grandchildren, Sierra Bernier and Michael Geraw.
She is survived by: her sister Beverly Hisman; her children, Michael Bernier (Sue), Thomas Bernier (Celine), Robert Bernier (Jennifer), Jeanine LaCourse, Shannon Bernier, Mechelle Bernier and Anna Streeter (Daniel); her grandchildren, Caitlin Bernardini (Mason), Amber Bernier (Brent Ming), Josh Bernier (Lexi), Whitney Douglas (Seth), Chris Richards (Shelly), Erin Richards, Ryan Bernier, Bridgette Bernier, Robert Bernier Jr., Courtney Bernier, Faith Bernier, Amanda O'Kusky (Kyle), Josh Currier, Oliver Bernier and Estella Streeter; and her pet Rusty. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Curtis-Britch Funeral Home (37 Lake Rd, Newport, VT 05855). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Newport Baptist Church (306 E Main St, Newport, VT 05855). A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Derby Center Cemetery.
