He is survived by : his wife Beverly Sweet (Matheson); his daughters, Starr Volkmer of Bennington and Tawnee Bortell (Dana) of Bennington; his grandchildren, Kenneth Volkmer (Lenora) of Pownal, Charles Volkmer (Courtney) of Bennington, Paul Volkmer of New York City, Mark Volkmer (Allysa) of Rotterdam, NY, Shannon Cote (James) of Shaftsbury and Nataya Cross (Richard Campilongo) of Bennington; his great grandchildren, Vance, Vade, Vic Volkmer, Bradley Volkmer, Elizabeth Volkmer, Aidan, Ayvah Cote, Xander Greene, Melody, Rowan and Weslyn Campilongo; his brother Roger Sweet of Hoosick Falls; and his pet Buddy Boy.
