She was predeceased by: her husband John P. Semple; her siblings, Rosemary Messner Kern and Arthur J. Messner, Jr.; and her parents, Arthur J. Messner and Gertrude Mallory Messner.
She is survived by: her sons, John (Marsha) of Dallas, TX, Ben (Terry) of Spokane, WA and Tim of North Pomfret, VT..
