It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ila Starr of North Troy, Vermont, born in Newport, Vermont, who passed away on June 12, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Nelson and Ellen Nelson (Conroy); her husband Jack Starr Sr.; her sons, Jim and Gary Starr; her grandson Jordan Starr; and her sisters, Clara Mayhew, Laura Baker and Shirley Gray.
She is survived by : her children, Virgil (Linda Starr), Jack Starr Jr. (Dianne), Billy Starr (Penny Flynn) and Betty Griggs; her great great grandchild Carter; her daughters-in-law, Pamela Starr and Jennifer Gaffney; and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Gray, Durward Starr (Lorraine) and Ida Cadieux. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren.
